After moving through motocross the first mountain bike model was launched in 1986, whilst the 1989 Tour De France saw the debut of the aerodynamic handlebar that famously helped Greg Lemond to claim the yellow jersey from the late Laurent Fignon in the legendary final time trial on the cobbles of the Champs-ÌälysÌ©es. The 1990’s saw Scott establish themselves firmly within the MTB market, with world cup winning forks, the world’s first carbon fibre mountain bike the Endorphin, and the worlds lightest full suspension MTB’s the G-Zero in 98 and Strike in 2000.
